Fatal Pedestrian Crash Claims Life of 79-Year-Old Fostoria Man in Seneca County
Norwalk, OH — A 79-year-old Fostoria man was killed Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle while crossing State Route 635 in Liberty Township, Seneca County.
The incident occurred around 8:46 p.m. on November 3, 2025, near County Road 592, according to the Norwalk Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, which is leading the investigation.
Preliminary findings indicate that Kenneth Goshe was walking across State Route 635 from west to east when he was hit by a southbound 2014 Chevy Impala driven by Taylor Gerschutz, 22, of Alvada. Goshe succumbed to his injuries at the scene and was later transported to Tiffin Mercy Hospital. Gerschutz was uninjured in the crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol received assistance at the scene from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, the Seneca County Coroner’s Office, Bascom Fire and EMS, and John’s Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
