Arcadia Village Council President Duckett is Out After Receiving Lowest # of Votes
ARCADIA, Ohio- Three new council-members have taken over seats in city council. Carol J. McDonald received the most # of votes at 79, while Council President Aadam Duckett received the fewest.
On Nov 3rd Mayor Brian Fink made the following statement on social media:
“Hello Arcadia residents. I am posting this plea for all of you and those especially who overwhelmingly put me in office as your Mayor. As most of you have witnessed, read or heard from someone there has been turmoil these past two years. I have tried tirelessly to make the changes you asked of me but to no avail. It seems this old guard would like to keep the same old same old. We as a village need to change. We can’t keep operating the same way. I’m asking you to give me new members of council who also notice what needs to change so this village can be proud again. Please give me the opportunity to show you what we can be in the last two years of my term. Please show up and vote tomorrow and vote your conscience. Only you can decide how we move forward. Just remember, I can’t do it alone. Thank you.”
Fink also answered many of my questions in a previous video interview:
