ATTICA, Ohio — On Saturday night, a racecar driver was airlifted to a hospital following a crash at Attica Raceway Park in Seneca County.
According to Attica Raceway Park, driver Bobby Elliot experienced back pain after the incident. Track officials reported that Elliot was alert, communicating, and had sensation in his extremities but was transported to a hospital via helicopter as a precautionary measure.
Elliot was competing in the All Star B-Main sprint car event at the time of the crash.
In a social media statement, Attica Raceway Park expressed support, stating, “We are wishing all the best for Bobby, his family, and team.”
