DEVELOPING: METRICH Carries-out Multiple Raids Thursday Afternoon in Fostoria, Ohio
The Seneca County Drug Task Force, known as METRICH, carried out a series of coordinated drug raids in Fostoria Thursday afternoon, with assistance from both the FBI and the DEA.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, multiple law enforcement agencies moved in on several locations across the city of Fostoria, executing search warrants as part of an ongoing investigation.
Among the properties searched were multiple homes owned by Rodriguez Estates LLC.
According to Seneca County property records, this company owns seven properties within the city of Fostoria.
The home of Paul Rodriguez, located on US S 23 near the Win Waste Innovations landfill, was also included in Thursday’s operation.
Another location searched was 120 East Culbertson Street, a property owned by Marie Flores and identified by authorities as part of today’s coordinated raids.
Agents also executed a search warrant at 106 North Main Street, the building known as Power Up Fostoria, adding a high‑visibility downtown address to the list of locations involved.
The Fostoria Free Press contacted Seneca County Sheriff Fred Stevens for comment on the operation.
Sheriff Stevens said the Seneca County Drug Task Force, METRICH, will be responsible for issuing a formal press release on the raids, but he does not yet know how long it will take before that information is made public.
At this time, authorities have not released details about arrests, charges, or the specific evidence collected at any of the locations searched.
The Fostoria Free Press will continue to follow this developing story and will provide updates as soon as additional information is released by law enforcement.
For now, residents can expect to see an increased law enforcement presence in some areas as the investigation continues.
