Insurance, The Biggest Scam In History?

“WHAT REALLY BURNS ME”

Believe it or not the answer to the question in the title is a resounding yes, in every country and in every language.. yes!

With just a few examples both personal and a couple known to this author I should be able to prove that insurance is a scam without too much of a problem.

Let’s start off with life insurance you know the type of insurance that you see commercials for on TV or hear about on the radio. The commercials that tell you that their insurance is the best and gives you a piece of mind knowing that if you pass away your family will have enough to bury you. Which would make anybody want to look into insurance to make sure that there’s no burdens on their family if they have to leave prematurely.

And for the most part that would be true except… Insert that little phrase “restrictions may apply”.

Even life insurance is a scam to take money from people. They all claim to provide peace of mind, but the only Peace of mind provided is for the underwriters and their families. Peace of mind knowing that that paycheck and that bonus is still going to keep coming in while the person who’s buying the insurance has to fight to get decent rates and the families have to fight to get a payout because of some stupid little clause or addendum that states the deceased is not qualified.

Let’s see if I can clarify this a little bit I have an accident policy which means there’s only a payout if I die because of an accident well let’s break that down a little bit further let’s look at the simple definition that the insurance companies provide. Accident is a cause of death for any reason outside of the body meaning a car accident that you die in or an explosion or some other major tragedy that causes your death as long as it’s not something internal well that would be fine except what they consider outside of the body does not include a fall from a workspace because you may have been able to do something to prevent that from happening and that would be a workman’s comp insurance claim.

What about if you choke on something say a piece of food well that’s not not outside of your body is it or how about someone else takes your life that is also not considered an accident.

And to top that all off you pay for your life insurance for years and years and years so even if you have a term life policy you may never have to use it and the way it’s set up at the end of your term you have to renew at a much much higher rate. So if you get a 20 year policy and then another and then another you’re paying an insurance company 60 years before anyone is able to use the money in case God forbid you pass away.

Now imagine the standard life insurance policy today is between 25 and $50,000 if you’re paying for 60 years into an insurance that you never have to use how much money do you think they’re putting in their pockets before they have to pay out that $50,000.

And God forbid you don’t use it or you switch companies to get a different term life policy you lose all that money that you put in. And before the liberals decide to start yelling about cash out policies take a look at the fine print on those and you tell me if it’s really worth it because in the end sure you can cash out but with most insurance, you’ll have to pay that all back before your insurance will be vested.

That’s just one example of Life insurance here’s one for you for medical insurance. As most of you know you’re going to need an addendum for mental health after you have to pay so much money for so little coverage.

Here’s a personal example at the time that this ridiculousness happened I was paying for private insurance out of pocket because I’m a small business owner with just me as the employee.

Under that insurance I covered my wife and my daughter. My wife had to go in for an x-ray of her lungs. The hospital that she went to to get the X-ray was in network but the radiology department in the same hospital was not.

At the time I was paying approximately $480 a month under Obama Care at a discounted rate because of my income. When I received the EOB for the insurance coverage and what I would owe it showed me that the insurance covered absolutely zero.

I happened to still be looking at the EOB while pulling my hair out and I noticed that not only was the X-ray not covered the doctor’s visit the visit to the radiology center the third party people who have to read the X-ray and the doctor in the hospital who was not even attending my wife’s visit.

They all have have their own separate charges of which the insurance covered absolutely nothing.

So naturally I called the radiology center and ask them what the hell this was all about I was told that if I would want to I can pay out of pocket for the X-ray at the cheapo rate of 480 dollars.

Now wait a minute that amount sounds familiar doesn’t it sound like what I pay for my insurance you’re right it’s the exact same amount so not only am I pay $480 for that insurance that covers absolutely nothing but I’m also  paying full price for an x-ray then all the other added on costs.

Doctors labs and some guy who sits in the corner reading the x-rays when a doctor can do that just as well.

In total including the payment for the monthly insurance was $1,400 needless to say Obamacare went out the window.

The next example I’ll give you happened to a friend of mine and it has something to do with mortgage insurance.

Now we all know that mortgage insurance is not designed for the buyer’s protection it’s designed for the lenders protection.

That being said there is a part in most mortgage insurance policies that is there to protect against default if for some reason the person with the mortgage ends up being disabled and no longer able to work.

It’s set up so that way the bank will still have their money for the mortgage if the person is no longer able to work in effect it pays off the mortgage.

Now this friend of mine became disabled therefore he called the insurance to make a claim to cover the mortgage because he is no longer able to be gainfully employed. With these hard times as they are and all the restrictions on Medicare and Medicaid I can understand the reasons for checking into it.

But there was one little hitch they have six questions that they asked my friend, and all six questions pertain to someone who is disabled in need of a wheelchair.

Every question has something to do with mobility of his legs. See my friends disability is the lack of mobility in his right arm. It has been deemed that he is unable to work at all because of his right arm and he was already awarded SSD.

According to the insurance people that he spoke to he will most likely be denied the claim because it’s an arm and not his legs.

“We provide you peace of mind restrictions May apply”

It’s the biggest scam of them all even the insurance agents will tell you and those who are in underwriting will also tell you they are told to deny by any means necessary and they will put into any policy that they can a restriction for every single coverage  that is in there.

You may never use but you still pay for it.

Insurance keeps your money by not paying out, the government takes your money by coming up with brand new taxes every other month and you keep giving your money hand over fist. Aren’t you tired of giving all your hard earned money to someone who doesn’t deserve it or someone who is just going to enrich their own lives off the sweat of your brow and the blood of your knuckles

As always this is my opinion and this is

“WHAT REALLY BURNS ME!”
