Fostoria Woman Life Flighted After Being Hit by a Vehicle on Tuesday

WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio (WTVG) – A Fostoria woman suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday, authorities said.

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 on SR-12 at TR-218 in Washington Township, located in Hancock County.

A 67-year-old driver from Arcadia was heading east on SR-12 when his vehicle hit a 42-year-old woman from Fostoria who was in the roadway, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman was taken to a hospital by air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

The incident is under investigation.
