FOSTORIA City Schools teacher & class wants to adopt Jackson Park, ODNR Grant Request Pending

FOSTORIA — The Fostoria High School class of Amy Stultz is stepping up to adopt Jackson Park, according to discussions at the May 19, 2026, city council meeting.

Public Safety Director Eric Keckler noted that the group is also pursuing an ODNR grant to help fund the replacement of the park’s aging playground equipment.

This sounds like a great project! I don’t know when the last time the equipment has been replaced but I have always remembered it to be green and yellow decades ago.
