MISINFORMATION | Woman Claims Missing Teen Sighting in Defiance Then Deletes Posts Hours Later

DEFIANCE | A Facebook profile posted in Search Team Gavin last night that there was a sighting matching his description 100% except for the bike. Her post in the group generated a lot of questions with zero answers later to be deleted. In order to prevent the spread of misinformation in this critical event it is best to report any sighting directly to Wood County Sheriff’s Office, not on Facebook in an attempt to gain followers.
