More Fostorians lose hope in Mayor Mennel’s campaign promise for a splash pad, maybe in 2030

FOSTORIA | One week prior to the Mayor election in Fostoria, OH, Mayor Donald Mennel used Scanner Media, a 3rd party media company & long time friend to tout his promise of a splash pad. The project was initially delayed because Mennel did not seek demotion bids nor complete proper project planning. Ultimately under budgeting the project by over $550K, at one time a teacher at FHS was collecting donations to put towards the project, how embarrassing.

Most recently, an alleged inside source says the City of Fostoria is blaming the construction company for not working on the project.

You get what you vote for folks. Mennel needs to go. He will do what benefits his company while ignoring the people of Fostoria.
