FINDLAY — Carole Ann Bishop, 79, of Findlay, died peacefully at home with her family on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026.

Bishop was born in Fostoria in 1947, graduated from Fostoria High School in 1965 and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo in 1977. She married Mark Edward Bishop in 1993, and the couple shared 33 years together.

Her family remembered her as feisty, strong in her convictions and very funny, with a sharp sense of timing that kept them laughing to the end. She was an avid reader who loved traveling the world and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband, Mark, of Findlay; three daughters; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Services

Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home in Findlay. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of the donor’s choice.

FINDLAY — Colleen M. Padron, 64, of Findlay, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center.

A Findlay native born in 1962, Padron retired from Hearthside Food Service in McComb. Her family described her as a hard worker and a devoted mother and grandmother. She and her husband, Michael, were best friends who enjoyed walks and watching sports together — even though she cheered for Ohio State and he rooted for Michigan. She also loved her dog, Tiny Diablo.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and a sister.

Services

A celebration of life will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Morrison-Moorhead VFW Post 9231, 204 E. Main St., McComb. Coldren-Crates Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County.
