Tiffin Fire Department Announces Newest Paramedic

The Tiffin Fire Department is celebrating a major milestone for one of its own, announcing that Firefighter/Medic Sam Allen has officially earned paramedic status. Allen, who joined the department in August 2024, has now completed the additional training and certification required to provide advanced life support care to Tiffin residents.

In a public message, the department praised Allen’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to the city, noting that his efforts “do not go unnoticed” and that they are excited to see him continue to grow in his role. The promotion means Allen will now play an even greater part in responding to medical emergencies, delivering critical care in the field and strengthening the department’s ability to serve the community.

Colleagues and community members are being encouraged to join in congratulating Firefighter/Medic Allen on this achievement, recognizing both the personal effort behind the certification and the added benefit his new skills bring to the citizens of Tiffin.
