FINDLAY | Arcadia Graduate Ryland Ernest Sworn In as New Findlay Police Officer

FINDLLAY | Arcadia High School graduate Ryland Ernest has joined the Findlay Police Department as one of its two newest officers. The 21‑year‑old was sworn in Monday morning at the Findlay Municipal Building by Mayor Christina Muryn. He is currently studying criminal justice at Ohio Northern University and previously worked for Clouse Construction Corporation while living in Bluffton with his family. Ernest will now attend the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy through the Ohio State Highway Patrol to earn his state certification before beginning patrol duties with the department.
