Lakota Swimmers Earn Personal Bests at Sandusky Meet

Two Lakota Local Schools swimmers turned a last‑minute opportunity into a standout day in the pool, representing their team at a tri‑meet hosted by Sandusky High School. Bennett Ebert and Landen Graber competed against athletes from Sandusky and Anthony Wayne, stepping up on short notice to make sure Lakota was on the blocks.

Landen delivered a strong performance in both of his events, the 200 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke. He not only posted personal‑best times in each race but also claimed second place in both, showing impressive versatility between freestyle endurance and backstroke technique. Bennett matched that energy in his own lineup, taking on the demanding 200 Individual Medley, where he earned second place, and the 100 Breaststroke, where he finished third. In both races, Bennett set new personal records, underscoring his steady improvement this season.

For a meet that came together quickly, Lakota’s swimmers made the most of their chance to compete, leaving Sandusky with new best times, top‑three finishes, and momentum for the rest of the year.
