Erin Smith, 65, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday January 11, 2026 at St. Vincent’s Mercy Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. He was born September 16, 1960 in Fostoria, Ohio to Carl & Esta Smith. He married Joyce Smith on May 9, 1985. Joyce passed away June 12, 2019.
Erin is survived by daughters Alicia (Evan) Schroeder of Columbus, Lindsey Smith & Jenna Smith both of Fostoria, son Andrew Smith of Fostoria, step son Eric (Stacy) Bomer of Columbus, sisters Carla (Mike) Coffee of Columbus & Melanie (John) Kimble of AZ, grandchildren Tyson & Alana Bomer, Lily & Zoe Schroeder, Zane & Luna Durain, Gabe Oldaker.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Joyce Smith & brother Kevin Smith.
Erin was a graduate of Fostoria High School & worked at Continental Structural Plastics now Teijin in Carey.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, January 19, 2026 from 3-5 p.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, Ohio.
