Many of the hand‑painted posters seen at the rally take direct aim at Immigration and Customs Enforcement, with slogans like “Stop ICE” and “Killed by ICE.” Instead of criticizing the cartels, human traffickers, or repeat offenders who prey on both Americans and migrants, these activists target the officers whose job is to arrest them. By demanding that ICE be defunded or abolished, protesters are effectively calling for weaker borders, fewer deportations of dangerous criminals, and more chaos in communities already struggling with drugs, gangs, and human trafficking.
