A Bowling Green man is facing four felony charges in Wood County in connection with alleged sex offenses, according to court records.
A Wood County grand jury indicted 29-year-old Thomas Rich of Bowling Green on Feb. 19 on two counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, one count of importuning and one count of gross sexual imposition.
Indictment documents state that in May 2025, a law enforcement officer or team posing online as a juvenile allegedly received obscene material from Rich, who is accused of selling, delivering or otherwise providing the content. In July 2025, investigators say Rich again sent obscene material to a juvenile and used telecommunications to solicit sexual activity from a minor between 13 and 16 years old, reportedly arranging a meeting despite being at least 10 years older than one of the minors involved.
The court records further allege that in February 2026, Rich had sexual contact with a person who could not legally consent because of limited mobility.
Rich is scheduled for a court appearance on March 2 at 1 p.m. in Wood County Common Pleas Court.
