FINDLAY — A Findlay cleaning company is offering free house cleaning to local people going through cancer treatment, and its owner says the reason is personal.

A Queen’s Eye Cleaning, a woman-owned residential cleaning business, has partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit that arranges free home cleaning for cancer patients, The Courier and Review Times reported.

What is offered

Each month, the company will provide up to two local cancer patients with two months in a row of free professional home cleaning. The service is open to patients living in Findlay and within about 15 miles. Patients of any age, gender or type of cancer can apply at cleaningforareason.org/patients.

Why it matters to the owner

Owner Reine Holbrook said her father was diagnosed with lymphoma in April 2020, and the family had four months left with him. She helped clean his home during that time and said she wishes she had known about resources like this.

“Having someone else take care of the cleaning would have given us more precious time with my dad,” she said. “I can still hear him saying, ‘You got this, kid.'”

The company, approaching five years in business, received the Better Business Bureau’s 2026 Torch Award for Ethics and the 2025 Emerging Business of the Year award from the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, according to the report.
